The Taipei 2009 Summer Deaflympic Organizing Committee and the International Committee for Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) are seeking qualified International Sign Interpreters to work during the 2009 Summer Deaflympics in Taipei, Taiwan, from 5-15 September 2009.
IS interpreters will be needed to work in a variety of settings – assigned to various sports venues, assigned to specific technical directors, during the opening and closing ceremonies, and during various meetings.
Proficiency in International Signs and spoken English are required.
Experience in working in international settings is preferred.
Airfare, hotel, meals and a fee will be offered.
